Your guide to Met LGBT - every Sunday!
News and Updates
London Met LGBT eBulletin
A few points for this week's update.
1. There has been a fake Big Fish set up which is homophobic. We have
complained to Facebook and the University and action is being taken. At this
point I would like to say that the University itself is in no way involved
in the page and is doing all it can to rectify the matter.
2. We are soon going to evaluate all of our communications methods - and
we need your help - look out soon for more!
3. Destination Met is next on 2nd April (first Weds back) and will be a
fundraiser - posters will go up this week.
Finally I hope you have a good Easter break - there will be no eBulletins
for 2 weeks - but we have some great stuff lined up for that issue!

London MetSU Elections
Have you thought about standing for election to become a Student Union
Officer? We need students from across the student body to stand and be
elected to the Union's Executive Committee. This is your chance to have your
say on how London Met is run.
We are also looking for six Independent Student Council members to be
elected to the Student Council. This acts as the governing body of the
Students' Union and directs their work.
There is no such thing as a typical Student Union Officer. As long as you
are enthusiastic, hardworking and passionate about the experience of being a
student at London Met you should consider standing.
Here is the timetable for this years elections:
Nominations open
Monday 3 March to Friday 14 March 12:00 2008
Campaigning and Administration period
Monday 17 March to Friday 11 April 2008
Voting
Monday 14 April to Friday 2 May 2008
