Under 2 weeks away, this year’s May Ball promises to be the best ever with
shows, 5 bars and lots of campness!

How do you get in? Well you need a ticket and they are selling fast with
rumours of a price increase next week!! Buy yours from the Hub or Rocket
ASAP!

London LGBT Glitterball 2008

The Glitterball is London's Annual LGBT Student Ball held in the Golden Lion
in King's Cross.

Think gay prom with more fun and less of the formalities.

A perfect way to end the academic year and say bye to all your friends.

What you need to know...

£5 a ticket - available on the door. 
Guests are only allowed with a student.
Dress code: Smart/Formal

Free Glass of Bubbly for the first 50 people

Popstarz, Ghetto & Trash Palace take on the Macmillan Mad Hatters fundraiser
walk Sunday 8th June

Popstarz and friends will be joining walk at the 3pm five mile walk from
Greenwich to London Bridge.

Grab a crazy hat and a stroll along arguably the best part of the Thames
with our staff, friends and punters (and a few very special celebrity
friends) then head to Trash palace for a well deserved FREE knees up at our
special party just for our fundraisers.

You'll be rewarded for your fundraising at Trash Palace with a glass of
bubbly and can enjoy a free foot spa or massage and a selection of hot and
cold gourmet food (free again) from Trash Palace's new Gourmet menu.

Plus raise £100 or more and be entered in the Macmillan Grand Prize draw.
There will also be a special prize for the top fundraiser. And the best hat
on the day will win VIP treatment with Celebrity hat designer, Louis

London Pride

Saturday 5th July 2008 – ALL DAY

In the 35 years since Pride in London began the LGBT community has truly
'come out'. 2005 saw the introduction of Civil Partnerships for same sex
couples and we have recently seen the end of other homophobic laws including
Section 28. 

Pride is fully inclusive and now embraces our growing acceptance in the
world of politics, business, media and entertainment. However there is still
a long way to go and Pride is committed to tackling issues including
bullying, discrimination and homophobic abuse.

Pride London is now in its Fourth year as a registered charity. The
organisation is run by volunteers. Our aim is to produce a highly
professional Pride Festival and an annual Pride Day comprising a Parade
through central London, a politically based Rally and free entertainment in
central London. Our mission is also to raise awareness for the LGBT
community.

Pride London NEVER charges the Public for any of the events on the Main Day
which is this year 5th July 2008.
